The eS1000, Mecalac's 100% electric loader, wins the grand prize for construction equipment from France
Mecalac, a leader specialised in the design, production, and distribution of compact machinery,
has won the Grand Prize for Construction Equipment from France, in the light range category, for its 100% electric swing loader with articulated arm: the eS1000.
The official announcement was made during the DLR Congress (Federation of Equipment) on Thursday March 28, where the manufacturer was distinguished for this innovation that meets the imperative undertaking that construction projects are more environmentally friendly. Developed based on the model of the AS1000 thermal swing loader, this electric version maintains performance without compromise with the stability, mobility, and efficiency performance inherent to the AS range.
Its unparalleled 8-hour autonomy and simplicity of recharging were also praised.
Mecalac marks an important milestone by becoming the world's first manufacturer to offer a complementary range of 100% electric machinery, including the e12 excavator, the eMDX dumper, and the eS1000 loader.
This breakthrough revolutionises urban worksites, and even enables work to be carried out in enclosed spaces.
